Be for the siding at Red Oak was built, Almost every weekend you could find a train on the law parked in the siding at College Park. Every Saturday and SUnday morning I would make the ten minute drive and catch some thing. During this time things were very conjested and their would be trains waiting in the Palmetto and Newnan sidings up too 30 miles south of College Park waiting to get in to Atlanta. Trains sitting here in the siding at College park ment that the local if needed could not do it's work nor could not get out of College Park due to the fact a train such as this would have every thing blocked leading to the main line. |
