WE Coil Car         
Anybody know what WE is short for? For a brief time, there was a manufacturing plant off of 22nd ave. in St. Petersburg that brought in 3-4 of these cars per week.

chris snyder General the WE stands for Wheeling and Lake Erie a shortline railroad based mainly in Ohio and runs into West Virgina, Pennsylvania, and a few others. I myself have thousands of photos of he wheeling and these cars. I'm not sure what they are doing in Florida but I hope i helped. 3/8/2008 4:40:42 PM
