| The hy-rail inspection car must have been a hit back in 1957 when it started its travels on the mainline for the Erie Mining Company. The original color was a light blue or blueish green but repainted to the bright yellow in the early 1960's. It was donated the the Lake Superior RR Museum in 1975 and was driven down the DMIR tracks to the museum by the then-museum President Donald B. Shank. |
