Here is a photo by an unidentified photographer that was taken in Chicago, Illinois, in September of 1948. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #3847, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata during April of 1923, rebuilt by Lima with rotary cam poppet valves in 1939, and retired in November of 1953 after 30 years of faithful service.
