| In-Terminal Services (ITSX) SD39 4028 was at the ITSX service area in Haslet, Texas. ITSX switches the nearby BNSF auto ramp and the intermodal facility at ALLIANCE YARD. The unit had been built in April 1970 as Southern Pacific 5321 and was sold in December 1986. It became Copper Basin Railway (CBRY) 302, then Helm (HLCX) 3950 and then Helm (HATX) 351. As the 351 it and sibling 5325 were as painted and lettered RIO GRANDE for use in the 1996 Paramount movie SWICHBACK. It became Andesite Rock & Gravel (ANDX) 4028, but it remained in the D&RGW paint scheme until 2006, when it became D&I Railroad (DAIR) 4028, and it went to ITSX in 2017. |
