Here is the Association of American Railroads' stock photo #4430. Caption On Reverse: "The Trail Blazer, reclining-seat coach train completely equipped with postwar cars, rolls out of Chicago en route to Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, and New York. The 6,000 horsepower Diesel-electric locomotive will provide smooth-riding power all the way to Harrisburg, Pa., where a sleek electric locomotive will take over for the remaining 195 miles to New York." Shown here (R to L) is PRR engine #5901 and two more units whose road numbers are not recorded. All are EP-20's built by GM-EMD and rated at 1,500 horsepower each. #5901 was constructed in September of 1945. The photographer's name and the exact date are not recorded. John S.
