Here is page two of a two-page article by Edward Hungerford entitled "The Man In The Tower." It was published originally in the February 1943 issue of "Trains" magazine, page 5. Revised Caption: "GG-1 No. 4878 speeds toward Philadelphia on the Pennsy's electrified line from New York. This photo [by Herbert Weisberger] was taken at Iselin, N.J." Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #4878, a GG-1 (2-C-C-2) electric built in Juniata during February of 1939 and rated at 4,620 horsepower.
