| CN local approaches N. Lynndale Dr. as it heads southeast via former C&NW rails at Appleton, WI on 15 Oct. '17. I believe they just picked up an empty centerbeam flatcar from Wisconsin Building Supply. This is the branch that runs to New London, WI, but I'm not sure if the local ran all the way to New London or not. It used to be a main line which ran to Clintonville, where it split to continue northwestward to Eland and points beyond, or continue northeastward to Shawano and points beyond. W. College Ave. crosses the tracks near the center of the scene. |
