Tom Beckett	General	Cool album. Good to see this operation going. I recall being up there in 1976, when this line was pretty much going back to nature, though at the time proposals were starting to come up for its restoration for the 1980 Lake Placid Olympics. My mom started going to the area-we had family in Old Forge who ran one of the hotels up on Fourth Lake, a place called Minnowbrook, itself now gone over 50 years-in 1946. She recalls riding up on a sleeper from New York that was switched out at Utica, and later on Beeliners from Utica, connecting from one of the through trains.
