| CN local crosses what used to be Stribley Rd. and parallels Thilmany Rd. and the Fox River as it services the Expera Specialty Solutions paper mill via former C&NW rails at Kaukauna, WI on 20 Jun. '17. From its founding in 1883 until 26 Jun. '13, the Kaukauna paper mill was Thilmany Pulp and Paper Co. (a.k.a. Thilmany, LLC or Thilmany Papers). What used to be Stribley Rd. is now just a driveway to the trailer storage lot. It appears that the remnants of Stribley Rd. and Thilmany Rd. will now just be referred to as the latter. Portions of both roads were altered or removed during the restoration of the original Thilmany mill (out of frame to left) and the creation of its new parking lot. |
