| There were relatively few units painted for the CP eastern lines subsidiary, called St Lawrence & Hudson, which encompassed the D&H and lines east of Montreal. Some of those were captive to the D&H-a handful of GP 38s and some GP 9us as well as a handful of SD 40s. It was not common to see them together for some reason, even the captive power. Occasinally, two would be on the same train; this was a rarity, D 22 rolling south with three STLH units. |
