| On the prowl for IAIS, I stumbled upon #18 instead. Owned by a family in Atlantic, she was fired up on special occasions and run on a siding in town. This engine was never part of the Purple Martin train. After years of outside storage had taken a huge toll, #18 eventually was sent to be stored in a shed on the Fremont & Elkhorn Valley. The demise of the FEVR has made its storage site a big question mark. |
