Stopped at Romig's for lunch - 1 of 2 - June 1966
Single stack B&O 9411 (B&O class SE-3, according to the stenciling above the builder's plate) idles behind Romig's while the crew is at lunch. The NP boxcars are destined for Matthews & Fields on Stonewood. In the background, note the poplar trees that dot the property line between the cemetery and the NYC Charlotte branch, just a stone's throw on the other side of the engine. Poplars attract lighting strikes like no other (lots of water content), so they have become less desirable as border plantings.
