South of Castilla and nearing the Thistle landslide location, a BNSF Provo to Lincoln Nebraska train (the H PVOLIN as BNSF calls it, or the QPVLIN as Union Pacific traces it); throttles though a cut in beautiful and soft red rocks. The BNSF attitude of running fast and short trains through Spanish Fork Canyon is reminiscent of the Rio Grandes same methods of getting trains through this route. |
