| This is a picture of the Brazos River running past UP's bridge over the river in Richmond, TX. Normally, the river's height is about 40-50 ft below the deck of the bridge. However, with the historic levels of rain that has fallen during the last week of May, the river has risen more than 35 ft, placing is just beneath the deck of the bridge. And here's the kicker. When this picture was taken, the river was still rising. |
