| CN through freight crosses the frozen Rat River and bisects the Rat River Wildlife Area as it speeds northwest via the former SOO rails at Medina Junction, WI on 25 Jan. '15. I was nou quite in the position I wanted when this train came roaring by; in my haste I advanced one-too-many increments of the zoom. I like this photograph, but I would like it more if the!nose of the trailing locomotive was in frame. One advantage of enduring our wonderful winter weather, the frozen water affords shots that would otherwise require hip-waders or a skiff. |
