IC 9601
CN local heads southwest pulling 6 cars over former SOO rails at Shawano Junction, WI on 2 Aug. '14. Train was returning to the yard at Neenah from Shawano. The locomotive is passing over the turnout that forms the junction for which this locale is named. This spot used to be named Fox River Junction, after several segments of the original C&NW mainline through Menasha and Neenah were removed and a turnout was installed here which allows the bypass of missing C&NW rails by using former SOO rails.
