The pro-trail advocates have littered the Kenilworth Corridor with signs calling for no co-location of both Twin Cities & Western freight and Southwest Corridor light rail trains along the Kenilworth Corridor in Minneapolis. Their rationale is that no co-location would save the Kenilworth Trail, which stretches from Cedar Lake to a junction with the Midtown Greenway near Lake Calhoun. A trail which runs on former Minneapolis & St. Louis freight yard land. This sign can be found north of the 21st Street crossing along the corridor. |
