| We are up at Lake Street now, and still looking northeast. Note how there is room for at least two other tracks beneath the bridge at left. This is a holdover from when yard trackage along the old Louie was thick as noodles in a soup. You could theoretically route the freight line through there without needing to rebuild the bridge and put the tow LRT tracks under the bridge deck in the center provided the overhead wire could be fitted into the bridge as it currently is. |
