The impressive Columbia River gorge has plenty of rail activity on both sides of the river. Aside from the obvious benefit of such traffic density, it can be frustrating when waiting upon activity on one side of the river to view what one is missing across the water. Such is the case at Biggs, OR as I wait for approaching UP traffic as an SD-70MAC heads a nice eastbound BNSF manifest cruising up the valley. But it is still a pretty sight. |
