The only reason I posted this shot is because of the color of the trees. Everyone around here knows how odd the weather has been this spring, with temperatures in the 70's back in March and such. I'm just struck by the red colors of the budding maples along with the light-greens of the young leaves of the aspens and similar species. Have I been missing something in my 45 years, or is this display of color unusual for this time of year? Anyway, that's the Q004 led by CSX engine #7859 shot from Rt. 31 looking across the New York State Thruway. |
