Atlanta Rails General I'm not a big fan of the orange, but these look pretty cool. 3/18/2012 2:16:03 AM
William H. Davis Jr. General Neither am I, but I'll take this over the constant GE Widecab parade, personally I liked the CEFX SD9043MAC's I caught last year, that's what I hoped for, even though I shot them last year, all but 1 train I caught was parked & wanted video footage as well 3/18/2012 2:53:07 AM
Fred Stuckmann General May not be what you wanted, but you got a nice shot out of it. 3/18/2012 1:38:04 PM
William H. Davis Jr. General True, that's all that matters in the end is getting a good shot of your subject, even if it's not what you wanted to see, it's impossible to see what you want all the time, so we have to make the best of what we have, but visiting shortlines & regionals you'll always have more interesting power & paint schemes, for the most part regionals & shortlines have better looking paint schemes & more interesting classic power that I like to photograph, but since NS is painting 18 Heritage Unit that will make things more interesting when those start roaming NS's system, it sure helps to have nice scenery to help make a photo more interesting when the power isn't so much as interesting 3/18/2012 4:37:57 PM
David Barrentine General Great shot, it didn't take them long to paint the loco's in the orange. They do look good. 4/9/2012 9:50:25 AM
William H. Davis Jr. General Thanks David, they certainly look better than when they were in that ratty looking UP paint that's for sure 4/9/2012 10:03:45 AM
Dennis Weber General Great Shot. 5/20/2013 8:03:57 PM

Ace Jorkel General Best paint on this Dash 8! 10/15/2013 12:45:20 PM
William H. Davis Jr. General Yes, better than what it was in last, but not better than what these were delivered in when new as the SSW or SP 10/15/2013 12:49:31 PM
