BN F units plowing snow shy of Northtown yard in Fridlay MN in Mpls MN around 1983. Editors Pick!
BN F units ran out of Northtown yard in Fridlay Mpls MN until 1984. Some F7B units worked as hump units at Northtown yard in the later 1980s. A few F units survive on the BNSF today as rotary snow plow power units. In this photo note the Harco spark arrestors on the trailing F7B unit. This is probably an ex Great Northern F7.B

S Kotnour General It now appears that I put the slide in the USB PC slide scanner backwards. There was so much snow, I could not tell what I was doing. Good catch. 12/31/2011 6:15:07 PM
