| #58 waiting for its passengers to arrive in Carbondale via bus from Memphis. This train arrived early in the morning as #59, was turned on the wye and to return north as #58. Due to flooding of the tracks at Makanda and further south at Cairo, the Centralia District is temporarily out of service between Carbondale and Wickliffe (thus making a good parking spot for the train). Traffic is being routed on the Edgewood Cutoff and Eldorado Sub during this. Two of the line's main staples, A431 and A432 are running this arrangement as well. |
