| With A491 already out of Battle Creek, I knew our best bet was to go to the signal furthest to the west at Wakelee. I was skeptical that we would actually make it. But, thanks to a defect detector grabbing the train east of Schoolcraft, we ended up having more than enough time. Eventually, the problem was resolved and the train came rolling by the signal, kicking up some fresh snow that had fallen during the morning. |
