With its headlight in the center of a rather plain face, Canadian Pacific is at rest at the passenger platform while clients are loading. Built by the Canadian Locomotive Company in January of 1945, the loco served well until its retirement and scrapping in August of 1964. Original specs - G3 class, 200 psi boiler pressure, 25x30" cylinders, 75" drivers, engine weight of 299,000 lb and tractive effort of 42,500 lb. No photographer was listed for the photo. |
