NW 1218 Editors Pick! Contributor's Pick!
After riding behind the 1218 from Birmingham to Columbus Ga, my friend and I got off to get some photos. We picked this spot to get a shot of the 1218 backing back towards the yard. There were two other photographers looking at this same spot. One spoke to a near by Police Officer and then the officer used his car to stop traffic. This left a clear shot of the train on the street. A shot from one of those two other photographers appeared in Trains Magazine soon after.
