| Chicago Burlington & Quincy Railroad GP35 986 eastbound at Naperville, Illinois, February 27, 1965, Ektachrome by Chuck Zeiler. Built in May 1964 (c/n 28981) on EMD Order 7719, it became BN 2532 and was rebuilt in March 1990 by EMD to GP39E 2914, receiving new c/n 897016-11. If I was just one more car length further east, I would have caught the waycar of the passing freight, just coming into the frame on the right. Oh well. |
