Former PRR/CR/NS Samuel Rea (Hollidaysburg) Car Shops  Contributor's Pick!
Shops named after PRR president Samuel Rea, later renamed Hollidaysburg Car Shops by Conrail. The shops were closed by Norfolk Southern in 2002. Plans call for redevelopment of the site to mixed use/commercial/industrial/open space. Most of the cars in the yard area are TTX owned, such as RBOX and ABOX boxcars, TTZX centerbeams, miscellaneous flatcars and TOFC flats, among others.
