How to tell this is an ex-LIRR GP38-2: Where the marker lights were, were filled in and covered up with that whit sticker. LLPX had the unit rebuilt thats why theres a dynamic fan

one way to tell LIRR GP38-2 Locomotives is the tapered air filter boxes, First units were delivered with squared off boxes which didnt clear Jamaica Stations Awenings LIRR modified the Air filter boxes after delivery from EMD
