Description:  The WHRS lineup before they disbanded. The lineup includes PC 7049 in the wrong PC paint which went to Minerva. WSX S2 200 ended up in Minerva and I believe is currently running. The NKP 479 :aboose now calls New Castle its home. The group disbanded over lack of money and members.

Description:  Gallitzin. Here is an original photo that I took of a Pennsylvania Railroad train in Gallitzin, Pennsylvania, on 13 September 1964. Shown here (R to L) are PRR engines #9785, #9788, #7069, and #8843. #9785 and #9788 are EF-15A's built by EMD in 1951 and rated at 1,500 horsepower each. #7069 is an EFS-17M built by EMD in 1956 and rated at 1,750 horsepower. #8843 is an AS-16MS built by the American Locomotive Company in 1951 and rated at 1,600 horsepower. They are emerging from the eastern portal of the New Portage Tunnel with a 108-car coal train on their way down the Allegheny Mountains via the Horseshoe Curve to Altoona and points East. The N-8 caboose is #478171.

Description:  7th Street. Here is an original photo that I took of Pennsylvania Railroad trains in Altoona, Pennsylvania, on 08 March 1964. Shown here is PRR engine #2022, a BF-15 built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1952 and rated at 1,600 horsepower. It and two other Baldwin "Sharks" are pulling an eastbound freighw train under the 7th Street Bridge into the Altoona Yards. Visible bekind it are portions of PRR engines #7070 and #9766-B, which are waiting for orders to proceed with a westbound mixed-cargo freight train.
