Description:  Chione. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by Fred Scott that was taken in Louisville, Kentucky, in May of 1952. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #1188, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata during July of 1917 and retired in September of 1955 after 38 years of faithful service. Note the experimental streamlined smoke deflector.

Top Photo: #5484 was built as a K-4S during October of 1927, rebuilt as a K-4SA, and retired in November of 1956. Bottom Photo: #1188 is a K-4S built during July of 1917 and retired in September of 1955.
