Title:
MEC 1201
Description:
No info with this old postcard scene except -1911 Helper over Crawford Notch-. I dont know if there was ever a ball signal at Bartlet or not but Im placing it at Bartlet for the moment. 1201 was one of 4 MEC X class locomotives from the B&M used as helpers on the Mountain. An Alco-S 2-6-6-2 built or aquired in November 1911 and scrapped 10/29. /DL
