Title:  CEI 2-10-2 #2003 - Chicago & Eastern Illinois
Description:  Built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1918, it was designated as Class O-1. It had 63" diameter drivers, 30" x 32" cylinders, a 200 psi boiler pressure, exerted 77,714 pounds of tractive effort and weighed 377,300 pounds. After dealing with some startup slippage and low speeds, C&EI sold this unti to sold to C&O in 1945 and eventually it was scrapped in 1951. This photo was taken near Midway Airpot and is marked from the Harold K. Vollrath collection.
