Description:  Doug Boyd caught this South Buffalo Rwy SW1200 #39 resting in the Hamburg, NY, yard. The former railway once worked over 50 miles of trackage along the southeast shore of Lake Erie and connected over eight railroads at one time. In 2001, it was sold to the Genesee & Wyoming RR.

The engine now works the Azcon scrapyard in Sharpsburg, Pennsylvania, as seen here"on September 25, 2009. Before South Buffalo, this engine was owned by Cambria and Indiana #39, and before that Conemaugh & Black Lick #121, and originally Steelton & HighspireJ.
