Here is an original photo by an unidentified photographer of General Electric's "Freedom Train" during its visit to Philadelphia's 30th Street Station in September of 1947. In the lead is engine #1776, a PA-1 built by the American Locomotive Company in August of 1947 and rated at 2,000 horsepower. Roy Healey Collection; #1 of 2.
