Title:  Eagle Project
Description:  My Father attaches the new pannel. Unfortunately, we would have to move this one later, since in our excitement, placed the board just off of where it should have been. The end pannels of the caboose are "shorter" than the intermediate ones, resulting in the mistake.

Eagle Project
Title:  Eagle Project
Description:  The greatest water damage was behind the sink, and below the window. We suspect this was leaking before the caboose was retired. A sheet metal wall had been installed by the CNJ between the sink and the wood wall, but it did not work out, and we had to remove the wood there. We rebuilt the entire structural area here, including the sill.

Title:  Eagle Project
Description:  The caboose is at this point, structurally sound. We decided not to add the windows, since winter was approaching and it was unclear if restoration would continue. I turned 18 that December, and so the eagle project had to be more or less wrapped up by this date.

Title:  Eagle Project
Description:  Front end, left side of the caboose. The bathrooms are on this end. Curiously, there are two toilets that dump straight onto the tracks, that can only be accessed from this door. There is no access to the toilet from the "other end". Sadly, we never did get to the side steps, though I was told they were stored elsewhere.

Eagle Project
Title:  Eagle Project
Description:  My Parting shot on the last day of my Eagle project. I had hoped to return, but I have only had a few brief oppertunities before the storm began to brew between the Pemberton Historic Trust and Pemberton Township. I have heard there is some interest in purchasing this caboose, but I worry that it will meet a bulldozer blade before someone can move it off the property.
