Album Info:This album contains photos of railroad depots and a caboose or two in Virginia. Although I have not photographed all the depots, I can only hope what I have is good enough. PRR Bloxom depot
Title:  PRR Bloxom depot
Description:  This depot (now at the Cape Charles Museum in Cape Charles) was once the PRR passenger depot in Bloxom. There were many depots like this (see New Church, VA) up the Eastern Shore of Virginia. They all show the heritage of the line which went from PRR to Virginia & Maryland RR (VAMD) to Eastern Shore (ESHR) and now it is Bay Coast (BCR). In the background is a water tower pretending to be a lighthouse!

C&O depot

Description:  John D. DeLong was kind enough to provide the following history; "The history behind the yellow depot that says "Shoe Outlet" is that it is the 2nd Keswick station that the C&O put in service. The original station is a nice brick structure located on the gravel road that turns off of Rte. 22 past the Keswick Post Office. The original main line at one time ran closer to Rte. 22 and the Post Office and was re-aligned in the 1940's." Thanks for your help, John.
