Description:  This little 0-4-0T is sitting on the Yancy Railroad, at Micaville, NC. The engine served a short time on a tourist line at Blacksburg, SC in"the early 1970s. That was the Blacksburg & Cherokee Falls. It is now at a private railroad in Denton, NC.

Description:  Campbell Limestone Co 9 is a 50 ton Heisler, that was kept at Beverly Quarry, just north of Liberty, SC. The quarry would fire up the engine once a year for the employee picnic. Around 1980 the engine was donated to the Southeastern Ry Museum in Atlanta.

Description:  The Clinchfield RR leased the C&O 2716 briefly. A contractor at Marion, NC started a rebuild. Not long after this photo was taken, the CRR manager was fired and the excursion program ended, along with this rebuild. The engine was later rebuilt by the Southern.
