Description:  An A-B Daylight PA set lies in the ditch at Hogup, UT, in aftermath of derailment of what appeared to be the eastbound mail train Behind the PA's are two REA storage cars; Wreck train is in the background, powered by Black Widow F units. Don't know further particulars on the derailment, however. . .

Description:  View facing eastward at Saline, UT. The new fill, built to replace the old wooden trestle, had opened recently. Location is about 1 mile west of Promontory Point, where the new 1959 fill swings away from the original trestle.
