Here are 28 images of photos relating to the wreck of the Pennsylvania Railroad's "Red Arrow" passenger train that occurred in the early morning hours of Tuesday, 18 February 1947. The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are cited when available. All of them come from the William E. Burket Collection. An informative resource is Dennis P. McIlnay's 2010 book entitled "The Wreck Of The Red Arrow: An American Train Tragedy."
