Album Info:This series of photos cover most of the activity on the North East Corridor at the Halethorpe MARC Station near MP 103 just south of Baltimore between 9am and 4pm on Sunday the 25th. The MARC station is just a few years old and features long covered platforms with an overpass above 4 tracks. Three high speed 100MPH tracks & a lower grade MARC lead, Track A, serving the northbound platform. Amtrak makes no stops at this commuter station. Catching the Amtrak action required shutter speeds upwards of 1/3000th of a second or faster. Photography was made from the northbound, Track A platform in the morning and from the Track 3 southbound platform in the afternoon. /DL
