Shown here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #2243, #2537, and two more units whose road numbers are not recorded. #2243 is an EF-22 built by GM-EMD in May of 1963 and rated at 2,250 horsepower. #2537 is a GF-25 built by General Electric in February of 1965 and rated at 2,500 horsepower. Note the presence of "Radio Equipped" labels and the corresponding lack of Train Phone antennae. |

Oil Power. Here a duplicate 35mm color slide by an unidentified photographer that was taken in Dennison, Ohio, in December of 1967. Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #1457, an EF-15A built by GM-EMD as number "9670" in April of 1949, rated at 1,500 horsepower, and renumbered "1457" in preparation for the PRR-NYC merger. Partially visible at the right is #2415, the AF-24A built by the American Locomotive Company in September of 1963 and rated at 2,400 horsepower. |

All are EP-22's built by GM-EMD and rated at 2,250 horsepower each. #4285 was constructed as number "5885" in March of 1950 and renumbered "4285" in preparation for the PRR-NYC merger. In this context, they're rockin' 'n' rollin' with a 14-car passenger train. |
