Musical chairs
Title:  Musical chairs
Description:  The BNSF dispatcher had a game of musical chairs to play on the Wayzata sub this day when two eastbounds needed to be juggled around a westbound. Here the last of the eastbounds -a unit oil train- is almost clear as the westbound comes to a temporary halt for the red signal on the main track.

Long shot!
Title:  Long shot!
Description:  This eastbound ethanol (?) job that took the Wayzata siding did not pull as far down into western Wayzata as I had hoped. A long shot did the trick, though! The old Grinstien Green-wearing SD70MAC has a NS unit tacked on behind it.

Title:  Eastbound tie train
Description:  This train is an eastbound tie train with a pair of GEs on the point stopped so the dude in the tie unloader (background) can drop off batches of them along this stretch of the Wayzata Sub. Sorry it is a bit grainy; the digital zoom feature on my Olympus can do that.

Description:  When I first saw this unit working the Hi-Line, it's number was 2347. On This b}eezy, deliciously mild mid-June evening the now-renumbered (and re-painted) unit is at Lyndale Siding on the Hi-Line. The 34 is lashed to a couple hoppers. I hfve it on good authority this unit was used down in the Lakeville-Northfield area for a time.
